About On Trend Gifts

On Trend Gifts is a small family-run workshop in Cheshire making handmade luxury gifts. The main lines are chocolate bouquets, candle bouquets, and hat-box hampers. Most orders are for occasions: birthdays, mother's days, anniversaries, get-wells, condolences, congratulations, the long list of moments where a delivered gift says something a card alone can't.

Where we work and where we deliver

The workshop is based between Chester and Warrington. Local hand-delivery is offered across Cheshire, Merseyside, and most of Greater Manchester for the larger gifts (hampers, dressed hat boxes, bouquets that don't ship well). For everywhere else in the UK, we ship via a tracked courier service and the gift typically arrives the next working day after dispatch.

How a gift is made

1. You order — through the website, through an email, or sometimes through a phone call for a more complex commission.
2. We confirm — usually within a few hours. We'll ask any quick questions about palette, chocolate preferences, allergies, or delivery timing.
3. We assemble — on the morning of dispatch, the chocolates and candles are arranged into the bouquet or hamper. Nothing is pre-made.
4. We dispatch — handed to the courier or driven over locally. You'll have a tracking link if it's couriered.
5. It arrives — usually next working day for tracked national shipping, same day for local hand-delivery.

What goes into the chocolate bouquets

Each bouquet is built around branded chocolates from well-known confectioners. We don't use loose unbranded chocolates because the recipient should recognise what they're eating. Common chocolates in the bouquets include Lindt truffles, Ferrero Rocher, Maltesers, Cadbury favourites, and seasonal special-edition chocolates. Allergens are an inevitable part of working with chocolate, so we list everything that's in each bouquet and offer dairy-free or nut-free options on request.

What goes into the candle bouquets

Candles are hand-poured by a small UK chandler we've worked with for years. Soy-wax bases, natural-fibre wicks, blended fragrances that lean to floral, citrus, or warm-spice depending on the season. Each candle in a bouquet is fully usable as a standalone candle once removed from the arrangement.

What goes into the hat-box hampers

The hat-box hampers are the biggest piece of work. A medium-sized hat box typically contains: a selection of branded chocolates, two to four small candles, a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers or a long-lasting silk-flower arrangement (your choice), a small luxury sundry (a hand cream, a small box of biscuits, a notebook), and a hand-written card. Larger hampers add more of each.

Allergies, dietary needs, and personalisation

Tell us about any allergies (nuts, dairy, gluten) or dietary preferences (vegan, halal-compatible chocolates) when ordering and we'll adjust the bouquet accordingly. For personalisation, the workshop will hand-write a card with your message and include any small enclosed item you'd like to send alongside the gift — within reason and within the shipping format.
